PhD programme

Starting from 2014/15 the Department offers a PhD programme in Linguistic, Philological and Literary Sciences (area 10). The programme is divided up into two curricula:

  • Ancient and Modern Languages and Literatures
  • Linguistics, Philology. Interpretation of Texts

 

One curricula of the PhD programme in Human Sciences (area 11) has been activated within the Department of Humanities, but it is managed by the Department of Education:

  • Philosophy, History of philosophy and Human Sciences

 

Up to 2013/14 the name of the PhD programme was in Linguistic, Philological, Literary and Historical-Archaeological Sciences (area 10). It was divided up into four curricula:

  • Interpretation, philology of texts, history of culture
  • Modern and comparative languages and literatures
  • Greek and Latin poetry and culture in late antiquity and in the Middle Ages
  • Linguistic history of Europe and Asia

 

The two curricula of the PhD programme in Human Sciences (area 11) managed by the Department of Education, but activated within the Department of Humanities, were named:

  • History of philosophy
  • Philosophy and theory of human sciences
